, to my students’ parents! Our class had 100% participation for Parent / Teacher Conferences!!

I had a wonderful time learning at the history conference in Washington D.C.! I was able to connect with the class Thursday from Mt. Vernon via FaceTime. Thank you Mrs. McClure for your help with this! I am excited to share what I saw and learned with the students!

Upcoming Events:

March 19 – Pick up Frandale Fundraiser orders. 3:00 – 4:30

March 20 – Middle school course selection sheets are due. Don’t forget a parent signature is needed on both sides.

March 29 – April 5 – Spring Break

April 9 – M-Step testing begins

April 12 – School Carnival 5:30 – 8:30

Read – a – Loud –Johnny Tremain

Reading –M-Step prep

Writing – Sharing historical fiction stories and M-Step writing prep

History –  Compelling Question: How does conflict create change?

Homework:

I recommend that children work on Study Island until Spring Break. It would be good to alternate between Study Island and reading. Recommended homework time is 30 minutes 5 days a week.
