Patti, just a quick note of thanks to let the generous families of Alward Elementary School how we used their donation.
Thank you so very much for thinking of our patients and families that were in the hospital over the holiday season. Your donations make a huge impact on the lives of many children and youth not just at Christmas but throughout the year. Many of the items you donated we used as personal gifts for patients as we ended up having 9 patients ages 20 months-18 years old in the hospital over the Christmas holiday and Alward was our only donor during this time. So thank you very much!. Items that we did not use as gifts will be used in therapy to work on all kinds of skills while having fun. I was also able to replenish our social areas where patients and their families are able to hang out and enjoy some time together after therapies are done for the day. Your gifts will keep on giving throughout the year and we simply cannot thank you enough for assisting us and our patients and their families in making their stay at our hospital the best it can be.
